HardScape Terrazzo is a term for which we own the copyright. It's a process of using multiple layers of either cement chips or acrylic chips, then going back and grinding those to reveal the layers of color. It is probably - across the board - the most versatile and the best bang for the buck, as overlays go. You have a full range of colors schemes and control of your colors. You can change colors by as little as 5 or 10% as part of an overall design.
HardScape Chip Terrazzo
HardScape Terrazzo extremely durable and is great for interior and exterior alike - whether that is a swimming pool deck, a ball park or arena lobby, a Porte-cochère or any high traffic area - yet it is probably one of the more attractive surfaces that we put down. It is very easily repairable. The installation allows us to be as broad and versatile as is needed. Basically anything we can do with thin set terrazzo we can do with HardScape Terrazzo - for instance by the use of inlays, metal strips, color changes and designs - and it comes in at considerably less cost. It’s not terrazzo as the conventional installation is - it doesn’t have the longevity or the thickness of conventional terrazzo - but on larger square footages where the regular Terrazzo option isn’t on the table it’s really hard to beat.
